Assessment of the IPL

My assessment of the second-leg of IPL so far, in accordance with the squad for the World Cup:

• Bhuvneshwar Kumar hasn't been at his best while Deepak Chahar has performed better in the same role.

• Hardik Pandya played a decent knock in the previous game, but he was unable to hold his shape while hitting the ball, thus not being able to generate a lot of power in his shots, plus, he's still not bowling.

• Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan have been out of touch, while Shreyas Iyer has stepped up on a couple of occasions, Iyer has a chance of being added to the squad while I think Kishan might be dropped.

• Yuzvendra Chahal has bowled wonderfully but Rahul Chahar will cover up, moreover, the squad includes four more spinners.

• Shikhar Dhawan has performed well, but Virat Kohli might open with Rohit Sharma in the World Cup, so chances of Dhawan being picked are slim.

• Overall, a few players in the squad need to find form before the World Cup, which I'm sure, they'll do.
